EASTERN EUROPEAN NOTEBOOK

Eastern European Notebook is an intimate look into the worlds of Eastern European theatremakers and the institutions they inhabit, through the perspective of Yury Urnov.

The Notebook covers Eastern European theatre today through in-depth interviews with key players (many old friends of mine, Yuri and CITD). To dig deeper and wider—beyond headlines.

Another goal of the publication is to provide inspiration and strength to and from our colleagues in the region. In these dark dark times, they manage to keep a steady focus on the work,

and they collectively give us hope.
