Ekaterinburg, Russia - September 2004 Kate Moira Ryan - Playwright I have been writing plays on Russian History for the past four years. I wrote a play called OTMA which Philip saw at a New York Theatre Workshop workshop at Dartmouth 2 years ago. He was taken enough with it to invite me to attend the first New Drama Festival in Moscow. I made a contact with Marisa Fushille, an American who runs the American Center. She put me in contact with Olga Kisyol of the Okay Production Studio in Yakaterinburg. OTMA will be performed in December at theatre across from where the executions took place. I am currently there working on the script with Olga and attending rehearsal.
